Head in the clouds playlist

Sage Cigarettes Magazine will be publishing a periodic, vaguely seasonal, themed playlist with selected submissions from contributors.

Our current call is Head in the clouds.

You can submit your song or just your favorite song, as long as it fits the theme & is part of Spotify. We know Spotify sucks but it’s the most accessible playlist service for us at the time of this call.

Contributors are asked to submit a small explanation of why they think their song pick fits the theme. You can write us a no-nonsense explanation or approach it creatively — tell us in verse or metaphor. We’re lit mag editors, we gotchu.

Submissions will remain open for this project until midnight, May 13, 2024. On May 13, we will have a special 24-hour response turnaround period. All responses will be sent out by end of day May 14 & we plan to have the post & playlist available May 15.
