Staff holiday hiatus

 Readers, writers, friends —

Our editorial staff will be out for the winter holiday from Saturday, December 3 through Sunday, January 8. We will resume our usual publication schedule starting Monday, January 9, 2023.

Submissions will be handled depending upon department:

  • Poetry: Submissions are CLOSED & will reopen January 9.
  • Fiction, book reviews, pop culture, & art: Though we will not be reading or responding during this hiatus, submissions will remain open. Editors will resume reading & responding to submissions Monday, January 9 & response time may vary by department. Please check each department’s submission guidelines for rough response times.
  • Interview requests, book review pitches, & column pitches: Though we will not be reading or responding during this hiatus, submissions will remain open.

2022 has been an exceptional year for us, we have published some excellent work & have made strides in utilizing our platform & boosting our authors. 

We are brimming with new ideas & motivation for the coming year & want to thank you all for reading, submitting, & connecting with the fantastic work we share.
