the Roman Empire
India
& the Soviet Union
have failed in part
not simply because
external threat have crushed their bones beneath
the universal weight of history
but
because internal flaw / / corruption
failure to espouse morals & guarantees & values
decency unfulfilled
has decayed them from the inside out
until their polished surface on lake propaganda
has become a swamp —
